We are located within the Northcreek development at 3705 Northside Pkwy NW. As you turn in, you’ll see us on your right. There is ample parking and we have amazing neighbors including The Daily Coffee, Little Rey and Bent Fork Tavern.
Our team is always excited to introduce the Megaformer to new people and help beginners feel confident in their form! Our small group setting offers space for the instructor to provide attention to new clients, while still encouraging the whole group. If you prefer a private session prior to starting group classes, please email hi@paceatlanta.com.
Get your doctors approval before you begin a new workout or if you aren't sure you should continue with Lagree strength workouts while pregant. Slow and steady is the perfect workout speed for expecting mothers so if you are give the clear to workout we think it is a great way to stay strong and healthy for this amazing body changing period! Please let us know when you arrive that you are expecting— we will gladly offer you modifications in class for moves that aren’t conducive to the changing pregnant physique. But of course, above all, listen to your own body and clear it with your doctor!
Sticky socks (if you don’t have any, we’ve got some for sale in the studio!) and a water bottle. We have water fountains to fill and refill, as well as products and blow dryers in the restrooms to help you freshen up and move on to the rest of your day. We have towels available for you in the studio for your workout.
Thanks for asking! Please do not bring your cell phone or apple watch with constant contact to your body on to the machines!!! Everyone in class is focusing on the workout, listening to the instructor, and mostly trying to tune out distractions so please do not add to this with your busy life during class. We will ask you to leave the class if you text, take calls, get on social media, or talk during class so please understand this is never easy to do so we hope you respect the 45-55 minutes and your own workout with following this rule.
For your first class, please arrive 10 minutes before the class begins so that the instructor can review the machine and answer any questions you may have. Safety is our number one priority and an overview of the machine is required before the start of class. If you arrive late (closer than 5 minutes prior to the class starting), you will forfeit your spot in the class and we will reschedule you for another day. This will ensure you are prepared for class and the instructor won’t distract clients by stopping an already started class.
The Lagree Method is a high intensity yet low impact strength workout that effectively combines strength, endurance, core, cardio, balance, and flexibility training in every move AND every workout. The movements are slow and controlled, performed under variable tension, adjustable to work with all body types and fitness levels. The SLOWER you go the STRONGER you actually become.
It depends on your goals and current routine. For some people it’s their preferred workout, while others compliment it with other forms of exercise. We recommend 2-3x per week to feel results and allow for rest and recovery. Listen to your body and find a routine that works best for you!
All of our amazing instructors will guide you every step of the way through a functional strength workout so that you leave feeling stronger and supported by your body. Whether it’s your first or 100th class, it’s going to be challenging and fun!
The Lagree Method is safe and adaptable for women who are pregnant and we encourage our existing clients to continue this workout to feel strong and supported during your pregnancy. A private session is also recommended to learn prenatal modifications and different ways to utilize the megaformer in group classes. We do not advise clients new to the Megaformer take group classes. Above all, listen to your body and check in with your doctor during and after pregnancy.
All classes have a 12 hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel, please do online so another client can book. If you cancel within the 12 hour time frame, the following will apply: If you are an unlimited member, you will be charged a $20 late fee or $25 no show fee. If you have a class package or class membership, a class will be deducted. If you purchased a single class credit, you will lose the credit. A $20 charge or loss of credit will still apply for switching classes within the 12 hour time frame. We are not able to make any exceptions unless it is an emergency or illness. The late cancel policy is instated to ensure that it is fair across the board to all clients at PACE.
